Der Der’s new film: “187 cRew – It’s Murda”
Everyone loves an underdog. Everyone wants to root for the team who has fought hard just to get to the place, the moment, when they have to fight even harder in order to achieve their goals. This is story of Upton 187 crew, a group of homegrown paintballers from Upton Massachusetts.
It’s been tough season for them, a season where they’ve proved too good to be held down in the Challengers Division, and not good enough to stay in the Champions Division. But they’ve grown and shown improvement every event, and built confidence in a few new crucial players.
Next week they get another chance at the PSP World Cup. Paintball is all about creating opportunities, and you shouldn’t miss the opportunity to see the new film in the Reckoning Series by Der Der Productions, featuring 187 cRew. It’s an interesting story behind one of the newest teams in pro paintball, with their whole year broken down by the players, tournament by tournament, as they talk openly and honestly about their struggles and thoughts as they bounced back and forth between divisions this season.
187’s existence as a pro team proves that any team with enough talent, heart, and determination can get close to the top of the game; it’s doesn’t matter what part of the world you’re from. They have no imported pros, they do not have the time or financial resources to practice for weeks straight leading up to events, and they are not from a hot bed of paintball. All the chips are stacked against them, but they’ve been able to win tournaments on their way up the ranks and beat some of the best teams in the world along the way.
Check out the film and hear their story. You won’t want to miss it; it’s entertaining and filled with lessons for every level of paintball player.
Der Der productions also has a film about Tampa Bay Damage coming soon as well.
